Before each international Eucharistic congress, an international theology symposium is held for theologians, bishops, and Christians from around the world, who gather together to take part in a rich and rewarding theological exploration of key elements of the Eucharist. At the request of Archbishop of Quebec Cardinal Marc Ouellet, Laval University’s Faculty of Theology and Religious Sciences agreed to organize and host the event, which will take place June 11 to 13, 2008.
